College counseling services at Harmony Public Schools include;
  • Schedule individual student and parent conferences to determine and focus on the personal needs, and goals of each student.
  • Organize parent nights/days to inform about colleges, admission processes, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities.
  • Schedule group sessions to guide students to the college admission process and procedures.
  • Help students to explore the role of testing in college admission.
  • Invite representatives from college admission offices of local and national colleges to talk to students and counselors.
  • Invite graduates of the school and discuss their college experiences.
  • Prepare school materials such as transcripts, recommendation letters, school profile to be sent to colleges whenever necessary.
